Atlantic City, NJ (May 9, 2023) - As of April 10, Visit Atlantic City has announced that Gary Musich has been appointed to serve as the Vice President of Sales, once again leading the sales team for the organization. Among his responsibilities, Musich will be responsible for productivity reporting, ensuring the sales team has the resources they need to meet their goals, and managing the synergy between the Atlantic City Convention Center and property partners. Musich previously held executive positions within the sales departments at Visit Atlantic City (formerly Meet AC), the Atlantic City Convention & Visitors Authority (ACCVA) and at casino resorts for more than 25 years.
“We are excited to welcome Gary back into the Visit Atlantic City family,” said Larry Sieg, President and CEO of Visit Atlantic City. “His previous 25 years of leadership as Vice President of Convention Sales afford him a wealth of experience and knowledge of the destination, expertise in sales management, and a strong track record of building and managing relationships that will continue to bring leading conventions and events to Atlantic City.”
“I have had a wonderful sabbatical spending time with my family, helping my son launch his company and serving as Harbor Master at South Seas Island Resort on Captiva Island, FL,” said Musich. “I’m excited to continue building and promoting Atlantic City as a top destination for events large and small.”
Musich is also excited to continue his volunteer work along the Jersey Shore. Conservation and preservation of our coastal environment has always been a passion of Musich’s and has spent time volunteering for the Sanibel Captiva Conservation Foundation (SCCF), Captains For Clean Water as well as the American Cancer Society.
Sandi Harvey held the Vice President of Sales role at Visit Atlantic City prior to Musich, she officially retired on April 28 after over 25 years in the tourism and hospitality industry. She started her Atlantic City journey in 1983 as the Manager of Hotel Sales of the now closed Sands Hotel and Casino. From there, she moved onto work with the Atlantic City Convention & Visitors Authority (ACCVA) in 1995 where she moved up through various positions eventually landing in the sales department. Through her tenure at Visit Atlantic City, she was responsible for productivity reporting, ensuring the sales team had the necessary resources to achieve their goals, and managing the synergy between the Atlantic City Convention Center and property partners.
