"On Kentucky Avenue"
Atlantic City, NJ
Before there were casinos there was... Kentucky Avenue. One of Atlantic City's most iconic streets especially known for its music. Famous clubs lined both sides of the streets and music flowed from within all summer long... The most famous of these was Club Harlem. Known affectionately as 'the Black Copacabana', it featured all the major Black talent of the era complete with flair, fashion and fantastic stage shows with showgirls, dancers and comedians. Created by Jeree Wade, this show celebrates the magic that was Club Harlem and has an original score true to the era interspersed with classic songs from the 1960's. Back by popular demand, ON KENTUCKY AVENUE, The Atlantic City CLUB HARLEM Revue, will return you to a time when nightclubbing was in vogue and great entertainment reigned supreme.
