Gay and Lesbian Friendly AC

Welcome to Atlantic City, one of the best gay destinations on the East Coast. The New Jersey Civil Union law went into effect February 19, 2007. The famed Atlantic City Boardwalk runs over 4 miles, making it the longest in the world. Take a stroll and enjoy the vendors and sights along the way. Atlantic City is convenient to prominent East Coast cities: AC is 60 miles from Philadelphia, 125 miles from New York, and 175 miles from Washington, DC.

The Greater Atlantic City GLBT Alliance and Schultz-Hill Scholarship Foundation announces the return of the Atlantic City Miss'd America Pageant to Atlantic City's historic Boardwalk Hall on Saturday, September 21, 2013. Originally a fundraiser and spoof of the world-famous Miss America Pageant, this hilarious event features drag queens strutting down the world's most famous runway.

Civil Union Information

Jean Muchanic, Officiant
Jean Muchanic, Executive Director of Absecon Lighthouse in Atlantic City, has recently become an ordained minister. Jean is certified to perform weddings and civil unions at Absecon Lighthouse, or at a site chosen by the intended partners. Ceremonies are customized to fit the particular religious or non-denominational needs of clients. For information call 609-449-1360.

Jeff George, Officiant
Jeff George is an ordained, non-denominational, interfaith minister specializing in weddings, and civil unions, at sea and on the beach. Couples may customize a ceremony to fit their exact needs, or choose from several intimate ceremonies created by Jeff. For more information, call 609-576-0044.
