Atlantic City provides endless opportunities to escape the daily grind, and AirTran Airways makes it easy and inexpensive to get here with a “Book a Skyline You’ve Never Seen” promotion.

Travelers must book their tickets by September 16, 2010 at www.airtran.com to get the special rates, with travel valid through January 26, 2011.

“Any time of year is a great time to visit Atlantic City,” said Jeff Vasser, president of the Atlantic City Convention & Visitors Authority. “We have excellent mid-week and weekend hotel packages available year-round, our casinos never close and you’ll be able to shop, relax at luxurious spas, enjoy top entertainment and world-class golf, and dine at a variety of great restaurants. Our visitors enjoy the Boardwalk in all seasons, and many of our attractions are open all year.” Visitors can find detailed information at www.atlanticcitynj.com or 1-888-AC-VISIT (1-888- 228-4748).

Sale fares start as low as $79 one way from Atlanta to Atlantic City, to just $154 one-way from Seattle for travel on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with additional peak fares available for Friday and Sunday travel. Sale prices are available from 43 cities.*

Visitors who travel through the Atlantic City International Airport (ACY) on AirTran have another way to save, too. By logging on to www.ACairport.com and joining “I FLY ACY,” they will be registered to receive information and offers throughout the year. Vouchers will be sent by mail upon joining I FLY ACY.

AirTran flies from the Atlantic City International Airport to Atlanta, where the airline operates a hub and connects to many cities. The Atlantic City International Airport is just 20 minutes from the heart of Atlantic City’s action.
