So you’re in Atlantic City, it’s Restaurant Week (March 1-7, 2009), and you want to know who’s participating or make a reservation at your top pick of the participating eateries.

If you have a cell phone with an Internet connection, it’s easy. Simply key in http://www.acrestaurantweek.com, and your mobile service will redirect you to the list of participating restaurants. You can then view the phone number, address and directions to the dining establishment of your choice….and you’ll be on your way to a fine meal.

“We want to make it as easy as possible for everyone to enjoy Atlantic City’s first Restaurant Week,” said Jeff Vasser, president of the Atlantic City Convention & Visitors Authority (ACCVA) (http://www.atlanticcitynj.com), which is producing Restaurant Week. “When you add mobile access to the Web site, Facebook, MySpace and traditional information sources, we offer just about everyone effortless access to Restaurant Week information.”

More than 70 fine dining establishments from throughout Atlantic County will offer fixed price lunches at $15.09 and dinners at $33.09 during Atlantic City Restaurant Week. The multi-course meals will have a much higher value. Full information, including menus, lodging and parking information is available at http://www.acrestaurantweek.com or by calling the ACCVA’s visitor information line at 1-888-AC-VISIT (1-888-228-4748).

The ACCVA receives funding through a grant from the New Jersey Department of State Division of Travel and Tourism. Sponsors include American Express, Philadelphia Magazine, Greater Atlantic City Chamber, The Press of Atlantic City Media Group, The Pier Shops at Caesars, Atlantic City Hotel & Lodging Association, A.C. Central Reservations, Atlantic City Special Improvement District, South Jersey Industries, TD Bank, Atlantique City, Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City and Casino Connection.
